Connection Authorization

This Connection Authorization supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. It applies whenever you connect a third-party account to the Land AI platform (the “Service”), including (a) a device-manufacturer operator portal (e.g. a vending-machine brand’s management portal) and (b) a WhatsApp number. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. What a connection does

When you connect an account, you authorize Land AI to access it on your behalf, using the credentials or pairing you provide, in order to retrieve status, telemetry and messages and to send messages/commands as directed by you or your configured AI agents. Land AI operates the connection as your service provider; it does not acquire ownership of the connected account.

2. Your authorization & representations

You represent and warrant that, for each account you connect:

• you own the account or are otherwise authorized to access it and to grant Land AI access on your behalf;
• you have the right to authorize automated access and the retrieval and processing of the data in that account, including any data relating to your end-customers; and
• your use of the connection complies with all agreements and terms between you and the relevant third party (e.g. the device manufacturer, or WhatsApp/Meta).

3. Connection methods & associated risk

Some connections are established through unofficial or reverse-engineered interfaces rather than an official/partner API, because an official API is not available or not enabled:

• Device portals are accessed by signing in to the manufacturer’s web portal with the credentials you supply and reading the same data the portal exposes to you.
• WhatsApp is connected as a linked device via a WhatsApp Web session (an unofficial client), not the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API.

You acknowledge that these methods may violate the third party’s terms of service and that the third party may, at its discretion, rate-limit, restrict, suspend or permanently ban the connected account or number. You accept this risk. To the extent permitted by law, Land AI is not responsible or liable for any action taken by a third party against a connected account, including suspension or loss of access, or for any resulting interruption to your business.

4. Credentials & data handling

Credentials you provide are transmitted to the connector that establishes the connection and are used only to operate the connection you authorized. Where feasible, account passwords are not stored in the dashboard. Data retrieved through a connection is processed as described in the Privacy Policy (and any applicable data-processing terms). You are responsible for keeping the credentials and connected accounts you control secure.

5. Responsibilities

Land AI will operate the connection on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis and provide controls to pause or remove it. You are responsible for your authority to connect the account, your compliance with the third party’s terms, the accuracy of the credentials you provide, and the messages and commands sent through the connection (including those generated by AI agents you configure).

6. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Land AI LLC and its personnel from claims, losses and expenses arising out of (a) your lack of authority to connect an account, (b) your breach of a third party’s terms, or (c) the content of messages or commands you (or your AI agents) send through a connection.

7. No warranty & limitation of liability

Connections are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. Land AI does not warrant that any connection will remain available or uninterrupted. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in the Terms of Service apply to connections.

8. Changes & contact
